Welcome to Cinematic Score! My name is Jabari Alii and I have always been in awe of the magic of music and it's ability to instill emotion in an audience. Here you'll find my growing portfolio of royalty-free stock music that sounds great in movies, games, TV shows, advertising, Youtube videos, and any project that needs a cinematic touch. I am also available for custom music composition which allows me to deliver the perfect musical feel for your project.

Biography

     Jabari Alii was born in Oakland, California on September 3, 1985. He began his musical studies on the piano, studying under his father, a jazz musician in the Bay Area. He continued his studies at the Levine School of Music in Maryland and later on at Howard University studying Music Education. Although his focus was in Jazz, Jabari worked in various genres of music, including Classical, Gospel, R&B, and EDM. During his time as a student Jabari worked as the leader and composer for several local bands as well as a studio engineer and song writer. Jabari also took on several private students, teaching theory, composition, and basic piano. He has also worked as a producer and engineer in Atlanta and the UK for various indie artists and other clients.

        Recently Jabari has returned to California, and in 2015 he released his first classical piano album “Prelude To Everything”. After releasing this album Jabari decided to make the shift to film and game composition and in 2016 began supplying various stock libraries with music. Also in 2016 Jabari launched his business Cinematic Score where he provides audio services including, custom composition, stock music, sound design, voice acting, mixing, and audio implementation.  Jabari has worked in many different genres and styles of music and this is what gives him the ability to blend genres and produce unique hybrid compositions. His meticulous attention to detail and unbridled passion for the music is what sets him apart and allows him to make magic with his clients.
